What About Me?

Let’s talk about financial stability.  As a dental professional we worry about everyone but what about us?  One of the most important things is eventually retiring and making sure you are saving  money.  A 401K is one way.  All Dental offices are different.  If you are lucky you have an office that makes this part of your benefit package.  If not don’t worry you can do it yourself.  It is never too late to start.  I was lucky enough when I went to school at Guilford Technical Community College  for Dental Assisting they had a financial class to show us ways to be smart with our money and how to balance things.  If you are always saving something you will never notice it is gone.  Financial Stability has no age.  Teeth are our passion but we need to invest in our future. Also note that when you are going to interview, pay attention to the whole package value that can total up more than any high hourly rate you are asking for.  Work smarter, not harder.
